Your birth, Your way

Practical tools, evidence-based information, and guidance for you and your partner for a confident, empowering birth.

Prepare for Birth with Confidence

Birth is unpredictable.

You may have a vision for how it will go - but no one knows exactly how labor will unfold.

What you can do is prepare.

With clear information, practical tools, and guidance, you can approach birth feeling calmer and better equipped to navigate whatever happens.

This course is designed for families preparing for their birth, whether you are considering pain medication, planning to avoid it, or simply keeping your options open.

I will help you understand the process, build confidence, and give you tools that support you in any scenario.

This Course Is For You If

• you want clear, evidence-based information about birth
• you want practical tools for coping with labor
• you want your partner to be involved and confident
• you want to understand how physiological birth works
• you want to prepare for the unexpected rather than rely on a rigid plan
• you want to approach birth feeling calm, informed, and supported
• you want to actively participate during class, with different activities, and not just listening

When You’re Preparing for Birth, It’s Normal to Wonder

Many parents find themselves asking:

• How will I cope with contractions?
• What actually helps during labor?
• What decisions might we face in the hospital?
• How can my partner really support me?
• What if things don’t go according to plan?

These questions are completely normal.

Good preparation doesn’t eliminate uncertainty, but it helps you meet it with knowledge, flexibility, and confidence.

What You Will Learn

In this course, we focus on the things that truly make a difference during labor.

You will learn:

• how physiological birth works and how the body moves through labor
• practical tools for coping with contractions
• breathing techniques that supports relaxation and focus
• movement and positioning that can help labor progress
• ways to stay calm and grounded during intense moments
• how to communicate with your care team and make informed decisions
• what common hospital interventions mean and when they may be used

• mental preparation for the unexpected

Your Partner Plays an Important Role

Partners often want to help but aren’t sure what will actually be useful during labor.

In this course, partners learn how to:

• offer physical comfort and support
• guide breath work and relaxation techniques
• help create a calm environment
• support decision making during labor
• stay steady when things become intense

When partners feel prepared, they can become a powerful source of support.

Many couples say this preparation helps them feel more connected and confident

going into birth together.

Preparing for the Postpartum Period

Birth is only the beginning of the transition into parenthood.

We also spend time preparing for the early postpartum period so you can enter those first weeks with more clarity and support.

We cover:

• what the first days after birth may feel like physically and emotionally
• realistic expectations for recovery
• how partners can support during the early weeks
• building a supportive environment for the transition to parenthood

This preparation helps families move into the postpartum period feeling more confident and less overwhelmed.

Birth can’t be fully predicted.

But when you understand how labor works, have practical tools, and feel supported by your partner and care team, you can have an empowering birth experience.

I would be honored to support you as you prepare for this important moment
